Coordination Chemistry: Coordination Isomers

The compounds [Cr(NH₃)₅(SO₄)]Br and [Cr(NH₃)₅Br]SO₄ are examples of coordination isomers. Carefully examine the structures shown below. In this pair of examples, the counter-ions are included in the display. The positions of the counter-ions are fixed relative to the complexes in these displays, but in solution the complex ion and counter-ion move independently of each other.
