Chemistry Building |
| Martin Chemistry Building The Chemistry Department occupies a four-story, 23,000 square foot building. The department is housed in the Martin Chemical Laboratory. The third and second floors of the building were renovated, at a cost of $1.5 million, in 1996 and 1997. The building features modern, air-conditioned laboratories with excellent ventilation and safety features, comfortable lecture halls, a chemistry library, and good study facilities. |

Chemistry Library A 9,000+ volume chemistry library is housed in the Martin Chemical Laboratory. It includes complete runs of Chemical Abstracts and other major reference works. On-line computer searches of the chemical literature are available. Chemistry majors may obtain keys to the chemistry building and to the chemistry library. |

Chemistry Computer Lab The Chemistry Department also boasts a computer lab featuring 10 Dell Optiplex computers. Each computer has all the programs necessary for any chemistry course, including Mathematica, MathCAD, Gaussian03W, and Spartan. Any student enrolled in a chemistry course is welcome to use the lab during the hours that the Chemistry Building is open. |
