While this page does not detail the actual genealogy of our faculty members, it shows their intellectual genealogy. At the start of each of the trees is one of the chemists who make up the base of any chemical genealogy tree, C. L. Berthollet, J. J. Berzelius, and A. F. Fourcroy. Instead of being connected from parent to child as is the case with most genealogies, these trees are connected from Ph.D. advisor to student. |
